Worthy Brother Knights:

Corpus Christi Knights of Columbus Council 10062 is pleased to have been chosen to host this 110th Annual Convention of the Arizona State Council of the Knights of Columbus.  The convention this year will be held over the weekend of May 18th – 20nd, 2017.  It will be held at Scottsdale Plaza Resort, located at:7200 N Scottsdale Rd, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253.  See hotel information page for driving directions from central Phoenix.

Hotel reservations can only be made directly with the hotel.  Refer to the Hotel reservations page for all the details.  Reservations can be made online or by phone.  The room rates are guaranteed through April 29, 2017. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a space‐available basis.  The daily rates, not including tax are as follows:

Single/Double Occupancy: $105.00

Rates will be applicable three days before and three days after the convention, based on availability.  Refer to the Scottsdale Plaza information page for more details and reservation links.

There are a limited number of suites available for hospitality rooms.  You will not be allowed to book a hospitality suite directly through the hotel.  Please contact the Convention Chairman, Bob Holsinger for assistance in reserving one.

Registration for the convention is required for all who attend the convention.  In addition, if you are attending the convention as a Delegate or Alternate, your council must submit the Delegate form to the State Secretary no later than April 1, 2017.

The Saturday Ladies’ Luncheon program will be an inspiring afternoon with guest speaker, Joyce Coronel, author and writer for The Catholic Sun. Full details will be available in the near future.

On Friday, all Bishops and Priests who serve as Council Chaplains or Assembly Friars and all other priests are invited to take part in the opening Mass, a special Chaplains’ luncheon, and the annual State Chaplains’ meeting.  Councils and Assemblies are urged to invite your Priest Chaplains, Priest Friars and Parish Priests to attend these events.  Councils and Assemblies should ensure that they pay for Priests’ travel, lodging, and convention costs.

Advertising in the State Convention Program Book is a wonderful way to support convention activities; show support for our State Officers, show your solidarity for our Chaplains, Friars, and Priests; or to make a bold statement of support for Pope Francis. We ask all councils and assemblies to place an advertisement in the Program Book, our primary financial support for the convention. As a Knight you can make a more personal statement by purchasing a Patron Advertisement. Advertising Contract and Patron Ad forms are included in this packet. All advertising must be submitted no later than April 16th, 2017.

Registration can be made from the convention website using check or Credit Card.  If registering by mail, send the registration form, along with your Check, to the address shown below:

Late registrations place an additional burden on the host council and the hotel to ensure that there are sufficient seating and meals for all in attendance.  Registrations paid for by Credit Card must be made directly on the website.  K of C polo shirts commemorating the convention can be pre‐ordered.  Please fill out the form completely, make sure to indicate your size and color.  There will be a limited number of shirts available to purchase at the event.  Do not delay, register today!
